Lawyers for Justice held a meeting with representatives of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Palestine, attended by Ms. Anna Maria Chissano and Mr. Mundher Al-Adhami from the office. The meeting comes within the framework of coordination and joint cooperation to follow up on human rights issues in the occupied Palestinian territory.

During the meeting, Lawyers for Justice provided a comprehensive briefing on the human rights situation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, highlighting key findings from its 2024 Executive Report, which documents major violations and assesses the performance of the justice system in defending freedoms and fundamental rights.

This meeting is part of the group’s ongoing efforts to monitor human rights issues and work with international partners to ensure the enforcement of the law and the protection of Palestinian human rights amid the current political and security context.
