Lawyers for Justice followed three political detainees from Beit Sira village, west of Ramallah, who were arrested yesterday evening by the preventive security; They are Hamdan Wawi, Muhammad Arafat Hamdan, Mujahid Alqam.

Today, the preventive security referred their case to the public prosecution, which extended their detention for 24 hours, after accusing them of political charges.

Accordingly; Lawyers for Justice condemns these arrests, which, in their essence, violate the freedom of political and party affiliation, which is protected under the article (9) of the Palestinian basic law, and article (26) of the international covenant on civil and political rights and other agreements and treaties to which the Palestinian Authority has committed itself.
